Awesome bike. Awesome service. My 4 yr old loves the hydraulic brakes compared to her old rim clampers.

So impressed by this bike! Our daughter had a 14’ spawn, and she loved this 16’ x2 so much more! Her braking/bike handling capabilities at 5 are incredible due to having hydraulic disc brakes! As parents who want to focus on skills/safety, this was the perfect bike for our 4/5 year old. We’ll be looking at the 20’ for sure!

1st bike I received, the rear dropout was bent/misaligned causing the caliper to rub the disc no matter how much it was adjusted. Forth suggested bending the drop out or returning it and sending a new bike. The 2nd bike, the brake alignment was fine but the brake levers were mounted backwards. (rear brake on the left, front on the right) One of the brakes had a leaky hose at the lever. Improperly installed barb/collar. Had to cut hose, install fittings and bleed rear brake. As for the bike, the handlebar could have smaller diam. grips and handlebar. I had to push the levers as far in as possible (mounted on the sloped area, off the 22.2mm ends) to create clearance so my kids fingers wouldn’t be squished between the lever and grip. The paint was scratched in a few places. Pedals are a little slippery for trails and his feet blowoff if he’s pedaling fast. An improvement in quality control and some parts more suited to small hands would be help a lot. Forth did have good customer service though.
I purchased this on sale for ~260usd. Despite the issues, the price is hard to beat.

I have purchase “Midnight Blue” the color does not look like the picture, instead it looks a dark shade of purple. If you would like to see the real color of this bike.. look up the Youtube video assamby. The tires look cheap and there is a line across the middle of the tire, which makes it look like have of the tire was glued together. Assembly was easy but I still needed to adjust the breaks. Be ready to adjust breaks even when out of the box. The chain is also super loud. Had higher expectations.

Hi Jairo,
Thank you for your feedback on the 16 X2. We’re sorry to hear that the color and quality did not meet your expectations. We strive to represent our products accurately, and we apologize for any discrepancies in the color representation. We appreciate your suggestion to view the assembly video for a better idea of the bike’s true color.
Regarding the tires, the line you mentioned is a result of the manufacturing process (molded rubber), but it shouldn’t affect performance. We’re sorry to hear that you found them to look cheap.
We also appreciate your note on the assembly and brake adjustments. While we aim to make our products as user-friendly as possible, some adjustments might still be necessary out of the box. We are looking into the issue with the chain noise and will work on improving this aspect. Adjusting the chain tension and applying a chain lubricant might help.
Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continually strive to improve our products. If you have any further concerns or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team at [email protected].

Amazing value for the money. I have family and friends with kids bikes that span the spectrum and this is hands down the best bike you can buy with your money. Well built, good spec, excited to buy their other bikes as my kids grow older.

Honestly the best 16″ bike on the market at a reasonable price. This bike shreds! We’re definitely buying the 20×2 when he turns 5.

A year ago we picked up the 16×2 for our then 3 year old who has always been a little bit on the taller side. He had a DK Nano balance bike that he was tackling mountains on and this was as smooth as a transition to pedals as we could have hoped for. We LOVED the geometry of this bike for him and the fact that it’s so much more aligned with traditional mountain bikes than “kids bikes”. Got it at a very good sale so the price point easily beat out the bigger named kids MTB brands. Now a year later, we ride wrapped it with a cute design and he is still ripping our local trail. Bike is ridden daily with no issues. It still fits perfectly with just seat adjustment. Will be purchasing the 20” when the time comes!
